Dale Rogers / Swim Coach
Dale was educated at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. He started developing his passion for swimming at the early age of 5 and today he has represented the United States in various national and international meets. During his professional swimming career Dale has had the opportunity to train with great coaches but the one that stands out the most is the United States Olympic Coach Eddie Reese.

Amy Bybee / Strength and Conditioning Coach
Amy has committed almost a decade her life to fitness and aquatics. She holds a Bachelor's of Science degree in Exercise Science and Biology as well as the top certifications available in fitness and aquatics. As a CSCS through NSCA she can train athletes in a way that focuses on the specificity of the sport to govern improvement in overall power, flexibility and success. She is also certified personal trainer through the ACSM. By working one on one she can focus on the individual needs of each athlete and prescribe exercises to aid in their triathlon training. With nine years of experience as a coach, and swimming instructor she effectively utilizes her knowledge base working with athletes in stroke refinement to improve speed and endurance in the water. Amy’s belief in balance is translated to connect mind, body, and spirit. Working with tri-athletes further emphasizes this credence because by nature these athletes have to be strong mentally and physically. Some of Amy’s fitness certifications include:
Amy Culp / Sports Nutritionist
“I’m not the diet police, I’m your food coach.” Amy Culp, RD, LD is a skilled nutrition expert with a passion for promoting nutrition and wellness. She is a Registered and Licensed Dietitian specializing in sports nutrition, eating disorders, weight management and family nutrition (working with parents to raise healthy and happy eaters). In addition to her work with Emerge, Amy and her husband Yancy co-own sCULP ture Nutrition & Fitness. Amy also works as a sports dietitian for the University of Texas athletes and as a nutrition consultant and speaker for large and small companies nationwide.
Armed with her wealth of nutrition knowledge, public speaking abilities and true passion for healthy living, Amy feels it’s her life’s work to educates people on strategies for living a healthy lifestyle. She believes that utilizing a non-diet approach is the best way to help clients make peace with food and assist athletes in getting an edge on the competition through proper fueling techniques.
Amy earned her Bachelor of Science with Distinction in Food and Nutrition from San Diego State University and completed her clinical training at the VA San Diego Healthcare System. She is an active member of the American, Texas and Austin dietetic associations, the Sports, Cardiovascular & Wellness Dietetic Practi ce Group, Nutrition Entrepreneurs Dietetic Practice Group and Austin Eating Disorders Specialists. In her free time, Amy enjoys cooking, being physically active, relaxing with her family and eating chocolate (in moderation)!
